Who are We?
We are a group of like minded radio amateurs with an interest in using our hobby
to enhance the reputation of the hobby and the Scarborough area. As a general rule
all events are based in the Borough of Scarborough. But can, where there is an association
with Scarborough, extend slightly over the boundaries. We have also used our call
from both Scotland, IOM and Wales (GSØOOO, GT7OOO & GCØOOO). The group, now has regular
SOTA activators in the form of G4YSS and G4OOE often airing their calls and sometimes
that of the group.
The following pages will give details of the events we have so far enjoyed and what
we are going to try to achieve in the near future. We use many different modes including
CW, SSB, FM, DATA.
You can view each of our QSL cards and read about what the event was celebrating.
In the later events there are even post-event comments letting you know how well
the event did on the day or weekend.
