SOTA (Summit's on the Air) Award Scheme

The Scarborough Special Events Group operate regular expeditions to mountain summits throughout the U.K using club calls GX0OOO/P (England), GC0OOO/P (Wales) and GS0OOO/P (Scotland). We have operated from more than 200 summits and are the only group to have been awarded the prestigious "Mountain Goat" Award for 1000 points activated.

QSL cards are not required to claim a contact, however we will issued a dedicated SOTA QSL on request, either via the QSL Bureau or direct to G0OOO.

The operator on these expeditions is normally group member John, G4YSS, who is an experienced hill walker and climber.  Reproduced below are QSL's from some of his recent expeditions.
